How do I order checks?

Three easy ways:

  1. Stop by any of our branches to place an order;
  2. Contact our Call Center at 703-684-1655 and they will connect you to the appropriate personnel; or
  3. Go to burkeandherbert.com, click on Contact and scroll down to Reorder Checks Online.

Can I pay bills online?

Yes, Burke & Herbert Bank does have an online bill pay service. The service is free to all personal Online Banking customers. For business accounts, the application is available at any of our branch locations. The fee for business accounts is $4.00 per month for the first 15 bills and $0.32 for each bill thereafter. You may also download a copy at burkeandherbert.com by going to Bank Online and then Get Started.

Do you have an automated telephone service?

Yes, we do. The number is 703-751-7701, or toll free 1-877-440-0800, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. You can check your balance, transfer funds between accounts and have your statements faxed to you. Does Burke & Herbert Bank require a swift code to receive a wire?

For incoming wires being sent from within the US our ABA Routing number and their account number is all that the customer needs to provide to have funds wired. (Burke & Herbert Bank is not part of the Swift Network. We cannot receive International wires directly. The overseas Bank must send the funds to their US Correspondent Bank and then to us.) /font>

What are e-Statements?

e-Statements allow you to receive your bank statements electronically rather than on paper. Simply log into your account, click on e-Statements and designate each account you would like to set-up. It is that simple! Plus, when you sign up for e-Statements between now and December 31, 2010, Burke & Herbert Bank will plant a tree in partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation.
